Cardiology Associates is pleased to announce that Jason Cole, M.D., MSc., FACC, has received Board Certification in Cardiac CT. Dr. Cole earned status as diplomat from the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
Certification recognizes those physicians who have demonstrated knowledge skills in the field of Cardiac CT by successfully passing a comprehensive exam administered by the CBCCT. Only 731 physicians in the United States are board certified in Cardiac CT, and Dr. Cole is the only cardiologist in South Alabama and one of only six in the State of Alabama to have achieved this distinction.
Dr. Cole has been with Cardiology Associates since 2004. He is also certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty Board in Cardiovascular Disease, and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Cole serves as Director of the Cardiac CT program at Cardiology Associates, and sees patients in Mobile and Atmore, Alabama and in Lucedale, Mississippi.
