Low-Fat Tortilla Chips
12 corn, flour or whole wheat tortillas
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut each tortilla into 8 wedges as you would a pie. Dip each wedge in cold water and sprinkle with chili powder, if desired. Place tortillas on a baking pan, avoiding overlapping. Bake tortillas for 5 to 10 minutes, until crisp and golden brown, turning once or twice for even crisping. Remove from oven and set aside for 2 minutes. Makes 12 servings of 8 chips each.
Variation: Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar before baking instead of chili powder.
