Marinated Broccoli
3 bunches broccoli
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
2 tbsp fresh dill or 1 tbsp dried dillweed
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp corn oil or safflower oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Slice broccoli into long pieces. Into large bowl, place broccoli. In a small bowl combine
vinegar, dill, sugar, oil, salt, pepper and garlic; mix well. Pour over broccoli. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Baste broccoli with marinade; drain. Into a serving bowl place broccoli.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
