Caramelized Onions

Makes About 4 Cups

6 large onions
Nonstick cooking spray

Spray the bowl of a slow cooker or crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.

Peel and thinly slice 6 large onions. Set the cooker on lowest setting and cook for one hour.

Remove lid and stir onions. Return lid to cooker and continue cooking on low for six to eight more hours.
