Dr. Dearing, originally from Mandeville, Louisiana, completed his fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, now known as Ochsner Medical Center. He completed his residency and internship also at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation.  Dr. Dearing received his medical degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology undergraduate degree from LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
