Dr. Gerry Phillips, a Mobile native, founded Cardiology Associates in 1985 and has since led its growth into the leading provider of cardiovascular care on the Gulf Coast. After earning his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completing his internal medicine training at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, Dr. Phillips continued on specializing with a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases.
Over the past three and a half decades, Dr. Phillips and his team at Cardiology Associates have expanded to include over 30 highly trained physicians and 20 advanced practice providers. With offices in Mobile and Baldwin County, and outreach clinics in Chatom and Jackson, Alabama, and Lucedale, Mississippi, the practice serves the diverse needs of the region with cutting-edge treatments and advanced cardiovascular imaging.
Dr. Phillips' commitment to advancing cardiac care is underscored by his recognition as the American Heart Association's Heart Ball honoree in 2008, highlighting his significant contributions to cardiovascular medicine in Mobile and the broader Gulf Coast community.
