Dr. Cochran, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine (LSU) for his medical training. He was chief cardiology fellow during his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases. He also completed his residency, internship and earned his medical degree at LSU. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of New Orleans.
