Texas native, Dr. Htin Aung joined Cardiology Associates from Springfield, Missouri, where he most recently served as Medical Director of Structural Heart Disease at Mercy Heart Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Aung earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency and cardiology, interventional and structural cardiology fellowships at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education (Mayo Clinic) in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Aung is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, and adult echocardiography.
