Dr. Trotter is a native of Greenwood, Mississippi he completed his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, UMMC, in Jackson. He also received his medical degree and completed his residency at UMMC where he was chief resident and one of six residents chosen, by his peers, to the All Star Resident, Carl G. Evers, MD Society. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Mississippi in Oxford.
