Cardiac Electrophysiology

Dr. Chaisson completed his fellowships in both clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular diseases at Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. During his cardiology fellowship he was chief cardiology fellow and concurrently completed a clinical elective in Cardio-oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to his cardiovascular training, he was a student in the Osler Housestaff Medical Training Program where completed his internal medicine residency at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Originally from Louisiana, Dr, Chaisson received is medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated cum laude from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. He also has extensive medical research experience having served as a research assistant throughout the eleven years of medical training.
