Dr. Douglass completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease where he was chief fellow at Ochsner Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He also completed his residency in internal medicine there as well, prior to his fellowship training, He attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and has a masters degree in Theological Studies from Springhill College.
