Dr. Douglass completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases, serving as chief fellow at Ochsner Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Prior to his fellowship training, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the same institution. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned a Masters of Theological Studies degree from Spring Hill College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University.
