Dr. Heindl joined Cardiology Associates from The University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB) in Birmingham, where following the completion of his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases, he practiced Cardiology, conducted Clinical Research and was an Assistant Professor of Cardiology. Formerly, Brittain was the academic director and an appointed faculty member at Forrest General Hospital Family Residency in Hattiesburg, MIssissippi. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at UAB and graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a native of Hattiesburg. He sees patients in clinic and the hospital in Mobile and Lucedale, Mississippi.
